Scientific and applied results are improvement and implementation into practice of VNLU a technology for a centralized treatment of incoming stream of library fund documents under circumstances of development for library process automation; studying of informational needs of VNLU users and usage of informational resources. Working out and implementing of structural and functional changes in VNLU divisions aiming at increasing of effectiveness in organization of library technological process; working out recommendation for development of a system of library and information services, system for raising of staff qualification at scientific libraries. Theoretical and practical results of the research were tested in the process of library bibliographical and scientific-informational activity of VNLU and libraries of SRI of the NAS of Ukraine, these results were presented to a wide public of researchers and library specialists during conferences, seminars, round tables in 2011 - 2013. 300 scientific publications, 3 monographs, 4 synopsis of thesis, 3 numbers of international collection of scientific papers, 3 issues of information and analytical review, a number of scientific and methodical publications. Aim of the research was reached by means of solution for a complex of theoretical and scientific and applied tasks on determination for priority branches in development of library and information sphere, improvement for forms and methods of informational activity of a scientific library, which are minute presented in "VNLU Scientific Works" (Ed. 38 et al.), monographs and other professional editions.
