It is shown that the high temperature treatment does not lead to loss of macrostructure catalytically obtained fibers and changing their fundamental properties. It is shown that the use of sulfur in appreciable quantity as a promoter of catalytic reactions long length carbon fiber growth does not lead to a significant increase in its content in the final product. Proposed and experimentally tested a new method of vacuum-thermal refining carbon materials using as an activator of sodium chloride (salt). Experimentally confirmed that using this method can improve the efficiency of the processes of refining and / or reduce the temperature of the process and therefore its power.
