The main results of the model are expressions for the rates of emission and absorption of atoms at the boundary, which allow numerical studies of the processes of nucleation and growth of the second phase precipitates in solid solutions. The proper choice of the values of the model parameters results into a qualitative agreement with experimental data [C. Cayron et al. Journal of Nuclear Materіals. 399 (2010) 219] on nucleation of nanoparticles in an oxide dispersion strengthened steel Fe-18CrWTi+Y2O3 at 1100 and 1300 C.
