It is shown experimentally that the template synthesis of nanoparticles in the presence of surface - active functional oligoperoxides provides control of size, size distribution and functionality of the nanoparticles due to their superior adsorption capacity during nucleation as compared with nanoparticles modified by convenient adsorption of the solutions. There were investigated and established kinetic and thermodynamic parameters of the thermal decomposition of peroxydic fragments localized on the particle surface , and parameters of graft polymerization initiated with the particle surface. Graft polymerization provides the formation of the polymer shell and polymer - mineral composites with controlled aggregate and sedimentation stability in media of different polarity as well as the compatibility with polymer matrices of different nature. The presence of the shell on the surface of nanoparticles compatible with the polymer matrix allows increasing the degree of filling of the polymer composite while maintaining its light transparency.
