ІІ) The aim of the study was to determine directions for increasing efficiency of economic activities of machine-building enterprises, and ways of their implementation. ІІІ) The research methods used in this work included dialectical approach, logical generalization, analysis, synthesis and comparison, general scientific methods of analysis and synthesis, deduction and induction, statistical and regression analysis, mathematical methods and methods of logical analysis, structural analysis, analytical calculation methods, simulation, synthesis, mathematical modeling, testing, questionnaire, interview, diagnostic experiment, systems analysis, synthesis. ІV) The result of the work and its novelty consist in identifying and developing directions for increasing efficiency of economic activities of machine-building enterprises, which are based on modern general scientific and special economic methods. V) The novelty of the results consists in the following: theoretical approaches to defining the content of the concept of "enterprise restructuring" are systemized and the necessity of carrying out the restructuring of modern national enterprises is justified; methodological principles for the spatial distribution of business processes in a three-dimensional matrix are proposed and typical basic strategies for the processes of each group based on their location in that matrix are determined; methodology for the information risk management is developed; a three-level structure of management of an enterprise's innovation activities is proposed ; the methodical recommendations "The development of leadership skills of a manager" are given. VI) The results of the research work are used in the educational process of NTU "KhPI" when teaching the following disciplines: principles of management, strategic management, crisis management, the management of organizations and administration.
