The temperature-pressure conditions that are providing the obtaining of single phase and two phase titanium, zirconium and hafnium hydrides by SHS process have been determined. It was confirmed that diffusion rate of hydrogen in titanium and hafnium is higher than in zirconium. The different oxygen, adsorpted moisture and other bad impurities contents in hydrides produced by different techniques are the reasons in differences in kinetics of their dehydrogenation and mechanical properties of pure metals and alloys obtained from hydrides powders. High balance of strength and plasticity can be obtained both from hydrides produced by stationary hydrogenation and from hydrides produced by SHS process.
