The purpose of the work - to create theoretical bases of manufacture alternative fuels. Creation, on the basis of theoretical and experimental researches, scientific and technical basis of new types of fuel production. Methods of researches: calculated (thermodynamics and statisticals), experimental (basic physicochemical methods of the analysis). The influence of basic technological parameters on the  biodiesel production process is established. The optimum conditions of  biodiesel fuel preparation by transesterification with KOH catalysis were selected. The physical, chemical and other properties of the products obtained by the transesterification of the vegetable oil or animal fat are defined. The method of biodiesel preparation from fat stock which is food industry waste (chicken fat) is developed . It is stablished that the biodiesel yield arrives 80 %, and it quality by the «acidity» exceeds the methyl ether of fatty acids obtaned in plant conditions.
