Research purpose is to conduct professional studies of the phenomenon of the Ukrainian ethnos in the world space and time dimension. The main task is to carry out an integrated analytical research of philosophical, psychological, ethnic and innovation factors for the study and understanding of the important role of the Ukrainian nation in the space and time dimension. Relevance of the work: the development of the topic allowed scientists of Ukrainian studies to comprehend, understand and analyze the role and the place of the Ukrainian people in the modern development of civilization in the space and time dimension. Novelty: for the first time in the domestic Ukrainian studies professional scientific analysis of the most important concepts concerning the genesis and development prospects of the Ukrainian nation in the space and time dimension was conducted. In the research comparative, typological, structural-functional, integrative-interdisciplinary and other methods were used. Theoretical and practical results: the original concept of the Ukrainian ethnogenesis and ethnic history of the Ukrainian people was developed; the preparations for edition of journal "Ukrainian studies" were made; the newest Ukrainian studies technologies were introduced in the educational process; the ethnic concept of genesis of the Ukrainians in Hutsul region was developed. Practical value: the research allowed to worked out new types of school programs, methodology recommendations, textbooks and manuals devoted to the past, present and future of the Ukrainian people. A number of scientific publications (see bibliographic description) was produced. Degree of implementation: research results are represented in 40 publications, 48 conference reports, the second volume of the monograph "Ukrainian Land and People. Ukrainian Ethnos in the World Space and Time Dimension". Sphere of application: education and science; categories of specialists: scientists, university professors, teachers of secondary schools, statesmen, students and pupils. Economic efficiency: competitiveness of the research is confirmed by the results of teaching Ukrainian studies on the base of programs and methodology recommendations worked out in the course of the research (programs for higher education institutions, secondary schools and pre-schools) during 2012-2013.
