The purpose of study - the improvement of quality by means of optimization of heat treatment and chemical-heat treatment. In the first chapter the character of structure formation in steel X70 during soaking in martensitic interval is studied and the recommendations for heat treatments' mode were made. In the second section the impact of mode of strengthening heat treatment on microstructure and abrasive wear resistance of cast iron 270Х15Г2Н1МФТ which had been subjected to softening heat treatment is presented. In the third section, the influence of parameters on high speed heating on Ac3 temperature and austenite's grain size in steel Ст6 is shown. In the fourth section the kinetics of hydrogen evacuation out of steel 10Г2ФБ is analyzed, the recommendations for heat treatment are presented. In the fifth section the effect of modes of carburizing heat treatment and surface plasma treatment on microstructure, hardness and wear resistance of steel 18ХГТ is described.
