A purpose of work is development of methodological bases which provide the increase of ecological safety of vital functions and technogenic safety in the conditions of labour on the industrial enterprises of city. Research methods are monitoring, theoretical and experimental researches and prognostications of the state of natural environment, quality of life-support of population, terms of labour on the metallurgical, machine-building enterprises of the industrially developed city. In the advanced study the analysis of question of improvement of terms of labour is conducted by the increase of efficiency of safe exploitation of the systems of defence of air environment of shopfloors of factories ore mining and processing combines. The results of study of process are offered. In the offered researches the analysis of the modern going is given near the account of transfrontal contaminations and payments for contamination of air environment by hotbed gases. Researches of authors of question of of hotbed gases and possibilities of overcoming of contradictions of international ecology are presented, in particular realization of positions fastened in Kiotskomu protocol. In research work a hike is grounded at what basic and most widespread the method of strengthening of instrument there is by volume heat treatment. This problem can be decided by the decline of requirements to properties of material of good and achievement of necessary indexes only in a working layer, that inflicted methods over strengthening.
