Supercontinuum was generated by femtosecond pulses from Ti:Sapphire laser in MS (microstructured) - fiber. Conditions of effective recording holographic gratings in photorefractive crystal LiNbO3: Fe have been investigated while using supercontinuum generation. The comparison of photorefractive response lithium niobate properties was made in terms of recording gratings using polychromatic and monochromatic pumping. The independent sources of pulsed (femtosecond) and continuous laser radiation been used. Finally, the conclusions about the specifics of multicolored holographic recording holograms using supercontinuum radiation and possible advantages and disadvantages in comparison with conventional monochromatic schemes were presented.
