The research goal is to analyze longitudinal stability of a new launch vehicle (LV) and to make recommendations for providing the LV longitudinal stability. The research subject is LV longitudinal stability. The research methods are mathematical modelling, information and analysis. The basic results. Scientific and methodic support for analyzing the LV longitudinal stability in an active flight leg (during the operation of a SLV liquid rocket propulsion of the first stage is formed. A need for installation of gas and liquid dampers of longitudinal vibrations in feed lines of oxidizer and fuel of the liquid rocket propulsion of the first stage for providing the LV longitudinal stability is validated. Recommendations for providing the LV longitudinal stability are made. Applications: designing and creation of space liquid launch vehicles.
