During the research we used a systematic and comprehensive approach. Methods: sociological methods, traditional methods of economic analysis, economic-mathematical methods, the method of expert estimates, GAP - analysis. Data processing was carried out using computer technology and software. During the performance: theoretically shown to build organizational and economic and information management technologies for efficient development of light industry; construction of an optimal model of the mechanism of using information technology in business enterprises of light industry and design strategies for their implementation; developed a strategy for the development of light industry based on cluster technology; built mechanism to provide security and protection of foreign economic activity of enterprises of light industry under conditions of integration; practically tested theoretical results. Results of research: organizational-economic management and information technology effective development of light industry in today's economic realities; the organizational-economic and information management technologies, taking into account external factors and internal integration development of light industry and using cluster technology to analyze the relationships between business entities.
