Work for configuration of GLOBUS software was accomplished as well and tests of connection to the national GRID network of NAS of Ukraine was completed. Software for determination of electronic and optical characteristics of GaAs and GaN based diodes using Monte-Carlo modeling was developed. In addition ab-initio calculations of Al ad-atom diffusion on the (0001) GaN surface and vibration spectra of impurities in diamond were performed using Quantum Espresso, SIESTA and ORCA codes.
