Established that promoting effect of hydrogen in the SCR NO C2, C4 - alcohols on Ag - containing zeolites of the BEA type is occur only in the presence of oxidation nanoclusters silver and Lewis acid sites on surface of the catalysts. The catalytic properties of nanophase iron and platinum-containing catalysts supported on carbon nanotubes and Al2O3, respectively, in the reaction of ethylene hydrogenation were studied. It was found that the dependence of the activity on the size iron nanoparticles is nonlinear, nanoparticles 4.3 and 6.5 nm exhibit practically the same activity, whereas in the narrow size range of 1.5 nm size iron nanoparticles (6.5-8.0 nm ) increase in activity is observed in 7 times. The dependence of the activity of platinum catalysts on the size of is not monotonic and passes through a maximum - for the size of the catalyst nanoparticles 5.6 nm has the highest rate of hydrogenation of ethylene.
