As meliorators were used two-year-old grass carp Ctenopharyngodon idella (Valenciennes, 1844) and silver carp Hypophthalmichthys molitrix (Valenciennes,1844). Results of the first year of investigation indicated positive effect of use of the plantivorous fishes.
