The objective of the research is development of mathematical, algorithmic support and software for the control of complex objects using wavelet analysis and risk assessment methods for solving technical and biomedical diagnostics problem. The methods, that are used in the diagnosis of complex objects, based on wavelet transform for non-stationary signals and allow to automatize the process of technical and biomedical diagnostics problems solving, were proposed. The statistical method of the dimensionless S-discriminant analysis was examined and modified for the tasks of primary analysis of technical deviations of bearings and other industrial objects from their normal state by applying the wavelet transform for vibration signals preprocess. A method of determining the optimal wavelet for signal analysis based on a study of its amplitude frequency response was developed. This is done by building wavelet amplitude frequency response with the direct wavelet transform on the main frequency band signal. Any signals can be used as a signal. The mean-square deviation of the coefficients during the direct wavelet transform and primary signals are determined. The optimal wavelet is determined by minimizing parameters of wavelet amplitude frequency response.
