Subject of researches are introduced plants from: FAMILIES: Araceae, Asteracea, Fabaceae, Іrіdaceae, Lіlіaceae, Oxalіdaceae, Papaveraceae, Poaceae, Polemonіaceae, Ranunculaceae, Saxіfragaceae, etc. SPECIES: Anemona L., Astіlbe Buch.-Ham., Dahlіa Cav., Campanula L., Callіstephus Cass., Cleome L., Chrysanthemum L., Hemerocallіs L., Heuchera L., Іrіs L., Lіlіum L., Mіscanthus Anderss, Narcіssus L., Oxalіs L. Papaver L., Phlox L., Tagetes L., etc. Object of study is evaluation of introduction, morphobiological features, an ontogenesis, reproductive biology, resistance to abiotic and biotic environmental factors, technology of cultivation, reyuvenilization of plants, breeding and genetic aspects of the expansion and improvement of hybrid fund of ornamental plants. The aim of work is enrichment and preservation of biodiversity of ornamental plants, creation of high decorative varieties, resistant to environmental factors, increase species and varieties assortment by introduction plants in ornamental horticulture. The research problem is to study morphobiological features of mobilized ornamental plants, to execute evaluation of introduction of leading collections NBG of NASU, keep varieties and forms of breeding of NBS with particularly valuable decorative and economic characteristics, to use the mobilized resources in selection work, to create new high decorative, competitive, resistant to environmental conditions of Ukraine varieties, proof to ecological conditions of Ukraine of a kind, to develop the current basic assortment of ornamental plants for different purposes. Methods of researches - comprehensive studies, which are based on the analysis and synthesis of information, methods of introduction and researches of biomorphological features of plants in the conditions of culture (methods of phenological observations, comparative morphology, the study of plant ontogenesis, drought tolerance, introduction study of cultivars, mathematical statistics). The work was done according to the rules of modern botanical nomenclature and modern systematic revision of taxa of different ranks. The systematic position of the genus are given by the system A. Takhtadzhyan. The study used methods of light microscopy and method of in vіtro. For researches of a morphogenesis MB-2S stereomicroscope is used. Frequency of routine maintenance to care for plants due to their ecological and biological features, as well as the age of the samples. In selecting objects of research priority was given to the generic complexes, which most fully represented in the NBS collection and include rare and endangered species. KEYWORDS: introduction of plants, ornamental plants, collection fund, conservation of biodiversity, morphobiology, study of cultivars, selection.
