The purposeful CPs structuring, optimizing the relationship synthesis-structure-functional properties, as well as the use of innovative approaches to their preparation (sono-and mechanochemistry etc.) were used. The fundamentals of the influence of various factors (working electrode material, temperature, nature of electrolyte and mediator of electron transfer, etc.) on the processes of electrochemical functionalization of organic substrates with "small" molecules were clarified.
