The composition and structure of the compounds have been investigated by IR, Raman, X-ray electron spectroscopy and X-ray structural analysis. The oxidation state of the metals is +3, the coordination environment is octahedral. The oxidation state of chalcogen atoms ranges between +2 and -2.
