Performance of linear measurements at 3 and 9 months of animals ukrainian red and white dairy breed with dermatotype " grain" is likely higher than the mean herd by 5.3 %, while the heifers ukrainian black and white dairy cattle with dermatotype "branches" were likely lower by 4.6%. It was established that the coefficient of resistance of young heifers age six year old of ukrainian red and white dairy breed with dermatohlifom " grain" was significantly higher than the mean herd by 15%. Based on the experimental research developed method of evaluation and selection animal of dairy breeds timber features nasolabial mirror in order to predict their performance and resistance in the early stages of ontogeny.
