Object of research and development - methods and tools for operational control of the environment, opportunities to improve the educational process at the department of Information technology and OGEKU university as a whole. Purpose - to develop new and improve existing software and hardware techniques and means of environmental control and the level of learning students. The method of investigation - analysis and mathematical modeling of natural and anthropogenic impacts on the environment, in particular for natural objects in the region near the Danube delta, processes which lead to degradation of structural materials and nuclear reactor fuel, as well as to the methods of teaching and knowledge control of university students. According to the results of work created and tested (compared with existing experimental data): - model changes in hydrological characteristics of ponds lakes example Kugurluy Ialpug-Odessa region, model is created based on neural networks, which is still virtually not applied in hydrological modeling; - model that allows to quantify the impact of various types of obstacles on the kinetics of structural dislocations in metals and fuel nuclear reactors with internal security, model is a further development of models that have been used for similar purposes in the nuclear industry; - mathematical model, allows more accuracy and in a shorter time to conduct computer simulations of discrete tasks of managing complex systems, including modeling various negative influences on the environment. - developed methods of teaching complex and poorly laid out issues of computer graphics, a system of monitoring students' knowledge of various academic disciplines, the results of these developments introduced in the educational process of the department. All of the above developments have already implemented, or are under active implementation (eg, nuclear energy), or after further development and refinement can be implemented in the field of environmental protection. Eg system modeling changes in hydrological characteristics of water bodies should be tested in other reservoirs, besides the aforementioned lake. Further development of the control system also requires knowledge of the students, and discrete mathematical model of complex systems.
