Identification of model parameters for winter wheat, maize and spring barley in relation to different soil and climatic conditions of Ukraine were conducted. As additional information for crop status in Ukraine the satellite data in a variety of vegetation indices (NDVI, VCI and VTI) were used. To take into account the impact of winter on the condition of winter wheat the adaptation of overwintering module, which is based on determining the crown temperature and hardening index was carried.
