This paper represents the results of finding ways to improve qualitative and quantitative indicators of human capital reproduction in Ukraine in terms of the demographic crisis, the analysis of statistical data, population movement calculations, key labour market indicators, economic activity of the population by sex and place of residence in 2012, analysis of labour demand and supply in 2013 and economically inactive population in 2000-2012 years. The paper defines the following major areas as improving employment conditions, level of work organization and payment, forms of moral and material stimulation; education system and mechanism for training and retraining, that significantly influence the human capital quality and output; distribution relations that determine the population reproduction conditions, living standards, possibilities of good nutrition, rest, treatment and psychological climate.
