The purpose of the scientific research work is to justify the theoretical and methodological foundations of linguistic and technical future teachers' training to implement continuous English-language education from the age of senior preschool children to secondary school leavers, to test the methodology of future teachers' comprehensive education in practice. The scientific novelty and practical significance of the results are: the expediency of future English-language teachers' training to continuous education has been grounded, teaching facilities for training specialists to implement continuous English-language education at all educational levels have been created, the directions of the research work of the department and the subjects of the teachers' individual research work have been chosen; the articles on the problems of the study have been published in the Ukrainian professional and other journals, the guidelines for language teachers of higher educational establishments on the problems of the research and for the organization of students' individual work with the special course of methods of teaching foreign languages in pre-school establishments have been developed and put into practice of MDPU; the teachers took part in different international and national scientific conferences.
