Objective of the project stage is to develop a mathematical model for calculation of individual eye lens dose of medical staff for realistic scenarios inhomogeneous external exposure during procedures of interventional radiology procedures. Study methods: analytical, computer simulation. Simulation of realistic exposure scenarios of eye lens exposure for interventional radiology staff was performed with the Monte Carlo method using a phantom type ADAM corresponding to the ICRP reference man, modified by addition of a voxel head model. A point X-ray source emitting monoenergetic photons into a cone for standard angiographic projections within a typical energy range corresponding to a 80 kV tube modified with aluminum or copper filters was used. The obtained results are not sufficient for study of lens dose formation , as well as for study of doses recorded by specialized dosimeters, necessary for continuation of the next stage.The lack of funding caused the suspension of this study, work was carried out in the first quarter of the year only.
