Pathogens of Beijing family significantly more often had a mutation in the katG gene (2.2 times) and/or in the inhA gene (3.0 times), which determine the resistance to isoniazid and in the rpoB gene that determines resistance to rifampicin (5.9 times more likely) than among strains of non-Beijing group. Thus multiresistans is significantly higher among Beijing strains, which allows to predict a lower efficiency of chemotherapy in case of infection with pathogens of this genetic family.
