The project has developed a water and waterless technology of growing nanocrystals of noble metals. In a project such problems have been solved: biopolymers which restore the gold ions in the diffusion cell layer microalgae Chlorella vulgaris and promote restoration of metal particles were experimentally found; single crystal growth kinetics in aqueous solution of HAuCl4 and polysaccharides was studied; single crystal growth process in a non-aqueous medium - a mixture of primary alcohols, HAuCl4 and stabilizer (polyvinylpyrolidone) - was investigated; conditions of formation of single gold crystals without impurities of polycrystalline particles were installed; process parameters that affect the size and shape of monocrystals were found; structure and morphology of nanocrystals at different stages and conditions of obtaining were investigated; influence of substrate type on the nature of crystal growth was found; nanocrystal growth mechanisms was established.
