It is proposed the assessment of agroecological condition of settlement territories by main components of settlement agroecosystems: according to soil quality, quality of agricultural products raised in the rural settlement areas and quality of drinking water. It is presented the requirements towards minimal required health-protective gaps between economic development to avoid drinking water, soils and products pollution by toxicants. It is recommended for Regional departments of agricultural development, headmen, experts and scientists, who study socio-economic, ecological and demographic problems of rural development, and for the use in educational process by teachers and students in higher education.
