Recuperator is equipped with the heat transfer facilities of different geometry arranged by the total tubes length. The large - scale firing rig has been redesigned and modernized with the purpose of development high-temperature heat recovery plant being the most perspective by the world standards and distinguished by essentially enhanced operation overhaul period including the last related to conditions of operation in corrosive medium.The experimental plant has been built to prove the advantages and to optimize the design of heat recovery unit purposed for high temperature industrial furnaces of proposed design. The heat recovery facility is equipped with secondary emitters arranged inside the tubes (Patent of Ukraine # 101124 dated 25.02.2013). The proper process instrumentation is installed at the experimental plant while the special computer software was developed to provide continuous monitoring of temperature and aerodynamic characteristics of the test section of recuperative heat exchanger.
