To carry out hybridological analysis of resistance to leaf rust and common bunt . Results. Over the 2011-2013 period 670 collection samples have been tested on artificial infectious backgrounds of pathogens of common bunt and leaf rust , including 342 ones for resistance to common bunt and 339 to brown rust . Natural populations of pathogens of brown rust and common bunt have been studied, the most aggressive strains and pathotypes were singled out to produce inoculum and use in creating artificial infectious backgrounds . Characteristics of donors of resistance to leaf rust and common bunt are given . Genetics of resistance to leaf rust (Beres, Matyo, Tobarzo, Polka) and common bunt (Erythrospermum 24210 , Expromt, Line 46) has been defined.
