The object of the investigation textual-graphic and lexical-graphic data base, which are of the high value for the perspective analysis of the structural arrangement in the different levels of the Mid Upper Dnieper patois, for perceiving the complexity of its phonological, lexical, grammatical composition and revealing typical features or peculiarities of their functioning, as well as the investigation of the language units dynamics. The purpose of the project is to organize a complete phonetic collection of the Mid Upper Dnieper dialects on audio-discs, as well as textual graphic and lexical-graphic data base. In the process of investigation methodologies and methodologic recommendations were worked out for computer stipulation of the dialectal materials. It resulted in arranging phonological records in textual format, including computer typing in textual format with virtual symbols that adds to the improvement of the existing technigues. The novelty of the investigation lies in representing the collections of the transcribed texts along withtheir recorded analogues on the CD. The texts are recorded throngh audio-proofreaders and audio-analysers … etc and are collected into the compactdiscs "Western Poltavska Region patois", "Cherkassy Region patois". The works have been pnblished and are being employed in education to work out and introduce new lecture courses, laboratory workshop in Ukrainian and regional dialectology, in speciality "Applied Linguisties" and in scientific activities in the national universities; being the basic ground for composing textboocs and manuals, as well as articles and dissertation.
