B. rapa L.,Camelina sativa (L.) Crantz which are proposed as a productive source of biodiesel and can be grown in Ukraine. The object of investigation is to determine high content oil plants which belong to Brassicaceae family Brassica campestris f. annua D.C., Sinapis alba L., Brassica campestris f. biennis D.C. ? B. rapa L.,Camelina sativa (L.) Crantz and highly adaptive forms, cultivars, and hybrids that were produced on their basis. We selected, improved and introduced the most prospective sources of biodiesel in Ukraine, which were derived from novel winter or spring forms and cultivars of Brassica campestris f. annua D.C., Sinapis alba L., Brassica campestris f. biennis D.C. ? B. rapa L.,Camelina sativa (L.) Crantz with increased production potential. There was established biological, ecological, biochemical, and energy characteristics of various forms of high oil content plants. It was collected the gene pool of oil energy plants, which included 162 taxa. We also created the gene pool of Brassica campestris f. annua D.C., (6 taxa), Brassica campestris f. biennis D.C. ? B. rapa L. (5 taxa), Sinapis alba L. (13 taxa), Camelina sativa (L.) Crantz (16 taxa). There was established a harvesting potential of plant seeds, biomass, content and yield of oil and residual products. We conducted an estimate of lipids caloric value and subordinate organic compounds. We have conducted approbation of acquired results on plenary session of 3 International Conferences.
