The aim - to improve the effectiveness of diagnostics and optimize the treatment monitoring of patinets with malignant neoplasms of hepatobiliary zone using a complex of radiologic methods: ultrasound, SCT, MRI; clinical, laboratory and pathologic methods of examination. Methods: methods of radiologic diagnostics, clinical, statistical. Equipment: spiral computed tomograph Asteion S4 and Activion 16 (Toshiba), with archivation of material on working server Vitrea-2; ultrasound scaners HDI 5000 (ATL), EnVizor (Phillips), Nemio (Toshiba) with application of wide transducer із L12-7,5, C6 and С5-2 MHz. The archivationof results was done on station "Vіew Poіnt". Microscope Olympus CX 41, digital photocamera (Olympus). In 140 patients with malignant tumours of hepatobiliar system the complex of radiologic methods of investigation was performed: initial hepatocellular cancer - 36, hepar mts - 104 patients (coloractal cancer anamnesis). Control group - 10 patients. the radiologic features of these tumours were studied. the role of every method and the sequence of it's use were analyzed. The interval period between the use of different methods was installed in order to obtain the most informative results. The importance of dynamic radiologic studies was explained. The achieved results proved the necessity of complex diagnostics algorhythm to reveal the dominant radiologic features of tumor process spread. The present study let to perform the strategy of surgery and further treatment. The comparance of results of radiologic and morphologic methods of studying the operating specimen with revealing the invasion criteria of peritumotal zone showed a high effectiveness of radiologic methods in studying the process spread. The link between volume of normal tissue and radiologic criteria of tumor reaction on treatment was estimated. The rate of clinical introduction - optimized methods of complex radiologic methods.
