The main subject of the research - methods, mathematical models and technical means for the improvement of the reliability of operation of powerful electric machines and transformers with OUL devices in the process of their operation; methods, mathematical models and technical means for the optimal control over the units of reactive capacity dynamic compensation under multiple asymmetric of loading and non-sinusoidal voltage. The purpose of the work is the development of the methods, models and technical means for the improvement of the reliability and quality of electric power supply by the determination of the technical state of coil insulation in powerful electric machines in the process of their operation, coils insulation and operation appropriateness of OUL devices of power transformers, as well as new methods and devices for dynamic compensation of reactive capacity, as well as measuring quick operating channels of the devices of dynamic compensation of reactive capacity, designed to be used under the conditions of multiple asymmetric of loading and non-sinusoidal voltage. Methods of the research - informational search, methods of mathematical analysis, mathematical simulation of reliability improvement and quality of electric power supply, fuzzy logic, sequential apparatuses. There had been developed the theoretical principles for reliability improvement of functioning of power electric equipment, improvement of quality of electric energy in the electric power networks. There had been developed the methods and mathematical models for diagnosing power transformers, power electric machines, optimal control over the devices of dynamic compensation for reactive capacity. There had been synthesized the structural circuits: device for voltage control by the transformer with the consideration of the envelope slope angel of the regulated voltage; for the determination of the external factors correction coefficient influence on the state of the transformer coils insulation in the task of diagnosing the coils on heat aging in accordance with the developed mathematical model; for the determination of working capacity of OUL device on switching time and non simultaneity single phase switching, on response of the commutational resource of the OUL device on each transformer coils subbranch; for diagnosing the electric motors' for supporting the optimal pressure on the catenary by the current collector; microprocessor regulator of the output voltage in the electrotechnical complex which contains a transformer with OUL device; microprocessor device for contactless temperature measurement in the rotor of hydrogenerator and the algorithm for its operation. There had been suggested: method for calculation of the mode of the distributed network under the asymmetric loading, based on the use of orthogonal Clarke coordinate systems; informative parameters and control algorithm for controlling over the compensatory symmetrization devices under the asymmetrical voltage of power supply equipment in case of variable cgaracter of asymmetrical loading with the use of reverse sequence conductivity of loading in the node of installation of the balancing device.
