It was founded that the use of stall-and-beam types of buildings with the combined and tethered maintenance of young animals and cows allowed to obtain a higher average daily gain of heifers at 0,068-0,154 kg (P <0,01), greater life yield of cows , the content and yield of milk fat on 6389.2 kg (P <0,001), 0,7% (P <0,01) and 451.0 kg (P <0,001) respectively, a shorter duration of service period ( on 24.6 days, P <0,05 ), a lower loss of milk ( on 215.9 kg, P <0,001) and the shortfall in output from 1 head - 1,15 thousand UAH (29.1 %) and reduce of the prime cost of production of 1 hwt of milk at 6.9 % compared with those of young animals and cows, the maintenance of which was without tether in types of buildings which have the form of stick.
