The project involves a comprehensive experimental and theoretical study of a wide range of physical and chemical properties of nanofluids that significantly improve the thermal conductivity and therefore the energy efficiency of conventional working fluids and coolants . The experimental and theoretical results of critical point shift for classical fluids under the influence of nanoparticles of different nature are obtained at first. Based on the concept of global phase diagramsa new approach for the prediction of such phenomena as nanofluid separation , self-assembly of nanoparticles , the influence of the concentration of nanoparticles in the topology of the phase diagram, the appearance (destruction ) azeotropy and others is developed. The different classes of nanoparticles (fullerenes, single and multiwalled carbon nanotubes , metal nanoparticles ) and studied their behavior in classical fluids (solubility , PVT properties , surface tension, and transport properties of the critical renormalization constant ) in a wide range of state parameters .
