The research purpose is fea-ture characterizing of economic and legal regulation of intellectual property sphere in times of market reforms in Ukraine. Research work included disquisition in the following areas: ways of legislative base and intellectual property enforcement perfection, improvement of information providing for activity in the intellectual property sphere, research-ing of intellectual property rights commercialization problems, ways of improving the system of training and advanced training for specialists in intellectual property sphere. During the research process there were applied methods of scien-tific knowledge, systematic approach, comparative legal analysis, logical and legal, statistical, forecasting, historical. As a result of the research there were obtained following results: based on the analysis of current legislation base and practice of its application there were formulated conclusions and suggestions for improving the economic and legal mechanism of intellectual property regulation. Some proposals, made by research work performers, were implemented in the educational process of Ternopil National Economic University in the context of educational and methodological implementation development and disciplines teaching process.
