Object of research - unstable soils, that susceptible to landslides, constructions in them, materials for their attachment by means of colloid-chemical and electrochemical methods. Subject of scientific research - strengthening and consolidation of unstable soils, that susceptible to landslides, by means of colloid-chemical and electrochemical methods. The work purpose - development of theoretical and experimental foundations of anti-landslide measures soil masses on the slopes, in particular elements of the subgrade, the development of technological solutions and materials to prevent and stop landslides. Methods, tools and procedures for solving work: analytical review of existing theoretical concepts, technological methods of fastening and materials for fastening; formulation of working hypotheses; theoretical and experimental proof of hypotheses, their transformation to the theoretical concepts. To ensure the reliability of the results of experimental studies carried out physico-mechanical tests, as well as the use of physical-chemical, colloid-chemical, electrochemical methods of research. Research results are as follows: methods of laboratory studies of the properties of unstable soils; physical and mathematical models of changes in the properties of unstable soils and additional shear forces under conditions of flooding and leakage currents; new anti-landslide measures, technological solutions and materials; practice recommendations to develop recommendations for anti-landslide measures, technological solutions and materials for prevent and stop landslides under conditions of flooding and leakage currents. Implementation of the results of research will develop new methods of measurement, prediction residual life of subgrade railways, effective ways to protect against landslides. Implementation of these developments will significantly improve the actual durability and safety of operation of the facilities of railways. The economic effect of actual life prediction and prevention of adverse effects of leakage currents and stray currents in the concrete and mortar construction of buildings and grounds under-rail will be provided by lower costs for their maintenance, continuation of their service life, higher reliability, durability and safety.
