Research methods and apparatus. Theoretical and experimental studies involve methods: mathematical modeling, advanced methods of research of complex properties of capillary- porous colloidal bodies (thermo gravitation caloric metric; IR - spectroscopic , optical microscopy ), instrumental methods of leather, fur and shoe materials science (determination of chemical and physical- mechanical properties ) , mathematical statistics and processing of experimental results . With the use of hardware: a universal infrared spectrometer TENSOR- 37; automatic interferometer ROCKSOLIDTM , ion meter N -160M, installation HANNA instruments H19812 pH- EC -TDS Meter. Main scientific results. The possibility of improving processes of modification of biopolymers through the use of electrochemically activated aqueous solutions. Methods of processing leather and fur raw materials of various methods of preservation during processes of transformation of biopolymer materials are developed. Novelty. The results of research are protected by 3 patents of Ukraine and obtained a positive decision on the method of processing of fur raw materials. Recommendations for the use of work. Based on the research results, practical recommendations to improve the process softening to improve the physical and mechanical properties of the finished leather, increasing its output to the area as a result of the use of activated water and enzyme, which is implemented in the educational process of the department of Leather and Fur technology KNUTD , and implementation at the plant " Velvet " ( Kyiv). Fields of use. Leather and fur industry and related industries to obtain quality materials while reducing energy and labor costs and impact on the environment. Conclusions. The regularities of improving existing and developing new environmentally friendly energy and resource saving processes in the production of leather and fur are determined. The mechanism of interaction of electrochemically activated water systems with biopolymers is established on which basis methods are designed to maintain the set of consumer properties during the formation of the structure of the skin and fur, and hence the performance properties of products.
