It was bred by individual selection of second-generation hybrid population by crossing varieties (Bystritsya 2 / Chernovytska 9) / VNIIMK 9186. New variety belongs to the Manchuria subspecies. Weight of a thousand seeds is 130-150 g. Protein content is 36-38%, oil content - 20-22%. Seed yield is 1.4-2.0 tons per ha. Variety is early-growing and takes 89 days to go from sprouting to maturity. It is resistant to lodging and bean dehiscence. Soybean variety Ranok was submitted to the State trials in 2013.
