The highest yields were achieved for Kosovitca variety at 53.8 centners per ha (profit - 439.0 UAH per ha, prime cost - 674.9 UAH per ton, profitability - 122.2%) by sowing it at September 20-30 with increased seeding rate of 4.5 million viable seeds per ha. Increased yield (additional 4.5 centners per ha) was obtained using mineral nutrition with a dose of N40P40K40 fertilizer under basic soil cultivation, conducting fertilization of crops at a dose of N150 before leaving them for the winter.
