Gromashevsky Institute of Epidemiology and Infectious Diseases AMS of Ukraine popup.description2 Object of study - the epidemic process of HIV infection, the spread of STD-infections, parenteral viral hepatitis, drug addiction, increased risk of infection, pregnant . The aim - to establish patterns, trends and outlook of the epidemic process of HIV-infection in Ukraine. Methods: epidemiological, serological , statistical. First identified key stages in the evolution of the epidemic process of HIV-infection in Ukraine from 1987 to 2012 , which differed in quantitative and qualitative parameters. We prove a strong inverse correlation between the dynamics of registered cases of HIV infection and syphilis , gonococcal infection and trichomoniasis and direct correlation with the use of performance indicators for the analysis of HIV infection. A direct correlation in space high (acute hepatitis B) , no appreciable force (for acute hepatitis C) with a shift prevalence of drug dependence in 2 years ago and trustworthy relationship between the number of new cases of drug dependence and the incidence of chronic forms hepatitis B and C. For the first time a forecast of the epidemic process of HIV infection in 2020, followed by the estimated number of new HIV infections in the population is stable with a tendency to decrease by reducing behavioral risk transmission among injecting drug users and sex commercial workers and lengthening life expectancy of patients receiving antiretroviral therapy. Instead projected increase in the number of new HIV infections among men who have sex with men. Product Description popup.authors Ватаманюк М.Ю. Кислих О.М. Круглов Ю.В. Марциновська В.А.
