The value of endogenous and exogenous cause of the risk of developing CAP in the military personnel was determined and the frequency of detection of etiological agents in hospital patients was established based on the data from the bacteriological laboratory of Kharkov clinical military hospital. Taking into account the polyetiology of CAP the need of expanding the range of diagnostic tests used to increase the effectiveness of potential pathogens was shown, especially in cases of combined mycoplasmal and herpes virus infections. According to the results of serological examinations, a high level (29,5±3,2%) of mycoplasmal nature CAP, in more than one-third of the patients (41,0±5,5%) was combined with herpes virus infection. To enhance the efficiency of laboratory diagnostic and thus the tactics of clinical group III CAP military personnel patients treatment, the method for diagnostics and interpretation of the results of investigations was developed.
