Theoretical and practical results - the peculiarities and optimum conditions for the application of modified clinoptilolite for the combined removal of iron and manganese from artesian water are determined. The technological methods which improve the reliability of the sorbent operation and enhance the increase of the inter-regeneration period are proposed. The first stage of the removal of iron and manganese from water which corresponds to the specific features of base object is implemented. The initial requirements to the operation pf the sorbent in the two-stage process of water cleaning at other prospective objects are determined. Two basic circuits for water purification systems which involve the application of nanosorbent are proposed. Novelty - the method does not require thermal processing, and relies on the ion exchange and sorption properties of clinoptilolite. Efficiency of implementation - method is capable for efficient extraction of manganese and iron ions from the artesian well water. Field of use - water conditioning and environment protection.
