H2S formation by sulfur cycle bacteria repress under influence of 2.5-3 mM metals. During Desulfovibrio desulfuricans and Desulfuromonas acetoxidans cultivation at optimal conditions efficiency of binding by hydrogen sulfide metal ions (2 mM) reached to 100 %. Sulfate and sulfur reducing bacteria use Fe (ІІІ) and Cr (VI) as electron acceptors.
