It is shown that the analysis of each component of the vibration signal permits to increase effectiveness of vibration diagnostics and identify types of defects. Diagnostics of an internal combustion engine was carried out with use of the developed methodic. It was revealed that such approach enables determination of informative parameters of the vibrosignal low-power components.
