Examples that confirm expedience of using the proposed approach to filtering are given. Results of method testing for real-life images of different sensors are presented and analyzed. Advantages of exploiting vector filtering are pointed and possibilities of its use jointly with variance stabilizing transforms with parameters that take into account the obtained estimates of noise characteristics are discussed. Using multispectral image, influence of filtering on reliability of such remote sensing image classification are analyzed.
