Goal of the research work - a synthesis of theoretical and methodological positions of the formation and implementation of mechanisms to ensure the economic security strategy of the development of the region and state in the modern system of global transformations and a substantiation of methodical and practical recommendations on their implementation to ensure social stability and economic effectiveness of regional development and rise of their competitiveness. Theoretical and scientific results: defines the essence and системоорганізуючу action mechanisms for ensuring the economic security of the state, tiering of its manifestations and багатосуб'єктність participants, the main risks and threats arise, which is the basis for the selection of optimal models of economic security of regions and increase their economic efficiency and social stability; developed methodical bases of monitoring and diagnostics of economic security at the national and regional levels; approaches regarding the selection of adequate mechanisms for ensuring the economic security of the state; proposed the perspective model of the energy security of the state; the methodological approach to building structural macromodels of the shadow economic activity; methodological basis of multivariate forecasting of dynamics of indices of development of industry in the region. The results of the research work formed a set of methodological guidelines and, on this basis, methodological approaches, methods and tools that are fundamentally different from the existing products and is the Foundation for developing strategies for the economic security of the development of the regions of Ukraine. Novelty of the results: theoretical and methodological position, practical recommendations on the development of strategies for the economic security of the state, regions, enterprises in the medium and long term; develop proposals for the formation of an integrated mechanism for the management of strategic development of the region on the basis of innovation; the proposed approach for improving the normative-legal support of realization of scientific potential of regions; to determine the content and the instruments of regional management in the system of economic security of the state. The obtained results, in contrast to the current developments, considering the multiplicity of process of a choice of strategic priorities of development of the territories, is a methodological basis for the elaboration of strategies for the economic security of the development of the regions of Ukraine. Results of research work were used in the industrial, financial, entrepreneurial activity of enterprises and organizations of the Poltava region, as well as during the implementation of national investment projects. The results of scientific research used in the practical activity of organizations and enterprises: enterprise «Нафтогазекологія», LLC «ARCHICAD-C», construction company «Промтехцентр», LLC scientific and production enterprise «Region», LLC «Geosystem», etc. a Series of practical proposals and developments were introduced at the key enterprises of Poltava region: JSC «Motor» of the SNPI «the Полтавагаздобыча», «Ukrgazvydobuvannia», «Naftogaz of Ukraine», etc. the total revenues from the use of the results of scientific research are: 687,6 thousand UAH. In addition, the methodical and practical recommendations prepared on the results of research were used for preparing the project for the construction of perinatal center in Poltava oblast in the framework of the National project «new life quality of maternity and childhood protection», in development of regional programs (Program of support of investment activity, strengthening the investment image and development of international cooperation Poltava region for 2011-2013, the Complex program of development of small business in the Poltava region in 2011-2012, Target program of support of investment activity, strengthen the international image and development of international cooperation; the Program for attracting investment in development of Poltava oblast until 2015), the provision of services and counselling, business planning, opening own business.
