The aim of the investigation is the elaboration of the algorithm of therapeutic and preventive measures for the patients with dryness of oral mucous membrane, based on differentiated approach to the reason, having caused the decrease in salivation, as well as the creation of the preparations for the stimulation of salivation. The methods of the investigation are epidemiological, experimental, morphological, clinical, statistical. The epidemiological studies of the level of salivation, held in Ukrainian population, have shown that reduced salivation is observed in 58% of people, living in Ukraine. The achievements: atropine pattern of the decrease in the function of salivation; algorithm, substantiating the measures on the increase of the functional activity of salivary glands; oral gels "Profial" and "Sliurem" (TU 2 20.4 - 02012102-001:2012; the Conclusion of the sanitary-epidemiological examination № 05.03.02-04/41514 dated 11.05.2012) for the diminution of dryness of oral mucous membrane and prevention of dental diseases. For the children with the reduced salivation and high intensity of caries the therapeutic and preventive complex, based on the intensifying of salivary glands function, was elaborated.
